Elon's satellite company delivers reliable internet directly from space — no cables, no cell towers.
So Elon already owns the cheapest way to get things into space and the company putting the most satellites up there.
But here's what's interesting:
He's missing two things.
He owns the rockets.
He owns the satellites.
He owns the electric cars.
He even pays people on X just for posting.
But to provide cell service to your phone, he still needs the cell towers to run through.
With the news of SpaceX potentially acquiring T-Mobile, that would take care of the cell phone problem.
Which just leaves one last piece:
He doesn't own the device people actually use to interact with the internet.
The phone.
And we don't think Elon is going to build his own... it just doesn't fit with everything else he has going on.
But he has a long track record of partnering with outlier companies to advance his mission.
Probably not Apple.
Probably not Android.
Probably not Google.
Something you've likely never heard of....
